The Feeney & Johnson 'B' Set Hand Controls are an alternative to the foot pedals. The brake and accelerator handles are located under the steering wheel rim and operated by the fingers. The inner lever is pulled up to operate the accelerator. The outer lever is also pulled up towards the steering wheel rim and requires only a small effort to apply the brakes. Any movement of the lever is reflected by a corresponding movement of the brake pedal giving the driver positive control over all operations of the brake. If the vehicle has limited space, the vacuum system can be replaced with an electronic brake still operated by twin levers.
SDL are able to supply a range of hand controls from Push/Pull through to the Feeney & Johnson (F & J) hand controls, benefiting those who cannot use their feet to operate the brake and accelerator pedals.
